The Outhouse is a stunning holiday property located on the fringe of The Lake District. Newly built in 2022 and tastefully designed to create calm and indulgent accommodation, The Outhouse is a true haven for those seeking to escape in luxury. Here, you’re well-positioned to explore Kendal and the nearby honeypot towns of Windermere and Ambleside, and The South Lakes in general.

Entering the bright living area, immaculately finished interiors create a warm welcome. A comfortable sofa is positioned around the feature gas fire and wall-mounted SMART TV for those cosy evenings, while the bespoke kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay.

A large master suite makes up the accommodation – perfectly summing up the tranquillity of The Outhouse. Relax in the deep-pocketed king bed, dressed in luxury linens and elegant soft furnishings, before enjoying the indulgence of the walk-in shower room and Bath House hand care products.

Bi-fold doors flow from the bedroom onto the private terrace with comfortable outdoor seating and views over the well-groomed orchard.

  • En-suite shower room with rainfall shower, basin, WC, wall-mounted towel radiator, and Bath House hand care products.

Need to know

  • There is ample parking directly outside the property.
  • Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at The Outhouse.
  • Tarn & Fell Escapes are pleased to manage this property, and grateful for the assistance from the Property Owners who live in the adjacent house.
  • There is underfloor heating throughout and all utilities are included with the accommodation.
  • There is a gas fire in the lounge – logs are not required.
  • Luxury bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.
  • An initial supply of coffee pods is provided for the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine in the kitchen.
  • We do not provide a cot or highchair, but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • The Outhouse is a non-smoking property.
  • Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am
