There are so many variables to consider when buying a holiday let in The Lake District. We suggest you give thought to the location, size and style of the property. We have a solid understanding of the local holiday letting market, so please contact us to discuss your possible investment and we’d be happy to offer our thoughts – or even introduce you to some of the excellent estate agents in our area.

It’s completely up to you – it’s your home and we want you to feel comfortable with letting it out. In our experience, those properties that accept pets are likely to take a handful more bookings per year, but whatever you decide, we’ll commit to promoting your property in line with your preference.

Not only do we have our own custom-built and well-optimised website, but we also use multiple third parties like AirBnB and booking.com to promote your holiday home. We’ll also market your property on our social media pages, through local events and traditional print marketing strategies too.

Although the much bigger, national holiday letting agents have a strong marketing power, we’re confident that we can offer a personal service that will in turn mean you feel your home is in good hands. Our guests like it too – lots of people are keen to support local businesses and we’re proud to be one of the few local letting agents in our area.

We think so! The extra touches make your guests’ holiday one to remember and with a memorable stay, you’re more likely to see happy, returning guests. In addition to basic sundries like hand soap, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets, many of our owners provide a welcome gift – varying from a bar of chocolate through to a bottle of something, or even a large welcome hamper of local food produce.
