Arranged over three floors, this end-terrace cottage is bright, comfortable and beautifully presented, with contemporary interiors and attractive soft furnishings throughout. Enter from the front directly into the open-plan living and dining space, made for relaxing after a day outdoors with comfortable seating around a log-burning stove and a Smart TV. Alongside, the modern, well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for easy self-catering, whether you’re preparing breakfast before heading onto the fells or settling in for dinner after a day exploring.
Upstairs are two inviting bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – alongside a contemporary family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
On the lower-ground floor, the large basement garage and utility area is a real bonus for an active Lake District break. With its own external access from the rear, bikes, kayaks, SUPs and muddy walking gear can be brought straight inside without taking them through the main living areas. There’s generous secure storage, a washer/dryer and plenty of space to hang wet coats and outdoor gear after a day on the fells or water.
Outside, a south-facing bench takes in the views towards Baysbrown and Lingmoor Fell. There’s private parking for one car, additional free on-road parking nearby on a first come, first served basis, and EV charging available by separate arrangement.

- One well-behaved dog welcome.
- Number One is an end-terrace cottage arranged over three floors, with an open-tread staircase connecting all levels.
- The main living accommodation has its own external entrance from the front, while the lower-ground-floor garage and utility area can be accessed separately from the rear.
- All utilities, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included in your stay.
- Log burner in the lounge. Due to limited storage at the cottage, logs, kindling and other fire supplies are not provided.
- Large secure basement garage and utility area with storage for bikes, kayaks, SUPs and outdoor equipment, plus a washer/dryer and space for hanging wet outdoor clothing.
- The oil-fired boiler is located within the lower-ground-floor WC.
- Travel cot and highchair available on request.
- Private parking for 1 car. Additional free on-road parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.
