THE ROLE
Job Title: Property Operations Coordinator
Position: Part-time | 30 hours per week
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Days/hours required:
- Working pattern to be discussed and agreed with the right candidate
- Fridays are essential
- Some weekend work is required
- Flexible working hours may be agreed in advance, subject to business needs
- The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota, providing support to guests and property owners for urgent or emergency issues only. Additional remuneration and/or hours for on-call support will be discussed and agreed separately.

THE COMPANY
Tarn & Fell Escapes is an independent holiday lettings agency, established in 2023 after years of living and working in the Lake District. We provide a full management service for self-catering properties across Cumbria, including bookings and administration, housekeeping, maintenance, compliance support, and general property management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property operations & changeovers
- Coordinate property changeovers with housekeepers and external contractors
- Inspect properties to ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance
- Manage and replenish guest consumables and stock across the portfolio
- Assist with cleaning and presentation when required
Maintenance & compliance
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks in line with your skills and experience
- Identify, log, and report maintenance issues requiring external contractors
- Assist with the administration and management of property compliance, including safety checks, certifications, and record keeping
- Support health and safety processes and maintain accurate records
Guest & owner support
- Provide professional, friendly support to guests and property owners via email, telephone, and messaging
- Participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota when required
- Represent Tarn & Fell Escapes in a positive and professional manner at all times
Administration & systems
- Assist with booking management and general administration using SuperControl, Microsoft, and online systems
- Produce changeover and inspection reports, highlighting any housekeeping, maintenance, or compliance issues
- Complete additional administrative tasks as directed
Private client & wider operations
- Assist with changeovers and operational support for private client properties within the portfolio
- Provide cover for an on-site Estate Supervisor when required, including laundry coordination, administrative support, and engagement with residents or members
- Support wider business operations as needed

- Confidence in lone working, as well as working collaboratively within a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Confident communication skills with a friendly, professional approach
- Willingness to carry out practical, hands-on work
- Comfortable using computers and online systems (training provided where needed)
- A full UK driving licence is essential
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Mileage will be paid at the approved rate of £0.45p per mile and in line with the Company’s Driving for Work Policy, or use of a company vehicle will be available.
