Need to know
- Parking at Edge Mere Apartment is free of charge and located directly outside the property – this is prized in popular Bowness!
- Sorry, we do not allow pets.
- There is gas central heating throughout.
- A cot and highchair are available, but a stair gate cannot be provided.
- The kitchen has an induction hob – anyone with a pacemaker is advised to take caution and seek professional medical advice.
- This is a self-contained apartment with two private entrances. Much of the accommodation is on the ground floor, but please note that the king-sized bedroom is in the basement; there is a window providing light source.

Excellent in every way, location, comfort, cleanliness, parking, communication. Our return visit was as good as the first a year ago, and we will definitely make a third visit. Loved it. I would be quite fussy and expect a high standard, Edge Mere delivers in all respects. Love it!

Bowness Break
This was our second stay in this property. The location is excellent helped by designated parking! The property is very accessible and provides a fabulous welcome upon entering. The apartment is so comfortable. We had a wonderful 3 days and look forward to returning next year.

We so enjoyed our 4 nights at Edge Mere apartment. Very convenient location and a perfect property with everything we could wish for to celebrate a special birthday. Exploring the area by boat, on foot and by car was so easy and the shops cafes and pubs are right on the doorstep. A very relaxing trip. We would love to...

We had a magnificent stay at edge mare celebrating a 70th birthday. We were a family of 4 adults and a 10 month Old baby. The apartment is so brilliantly furnished for a young baby and the words going “above and beyond” really ring true. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. From the free parking, to sky sports...

We had a brilliant stay at edgemere apartment. The property was spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The living room was large and cosy on a cold evening. Location couldn't have been better, very central and the addition of a parking spot was a big bonus. Booking through tarn escapes Ross responded quickly to our questions before we booked and was very helpful. Would certainly love to return for a second visit

Everything was great. Location, comfort,facilities,cleanliness. Do I have to say a negative ? Maybe just take note the short steep hill would be a bit of an ask if you’re not too good on your feet. That aside it was perfect for a whistle stop tour.

Truly amazing
The apartment is truly amazing. Absolutely 5 star from the decor to the furniture and appliances. So close to shops and restaurants and lots of local walks from the apartment. Ross answered any queries straight and so helpful. Would not hesitate to come back and thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at this Edge Mere Apartment for a long weekend. It's in a very good location with shops, restaurants and other amenities near by. Instructions for the property were well detailed. The property itself was clean and tidy and well-maintained,and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ross is a great host and very responsive to any queries. Nice touch...

Attention to detail was incredible
We had a lovely time staying at Ross’. The whole place feels homey and cozy, and the attention to detail was incredible. Edge Mere is close to the Marina and walking distance to shops and restaurants, so it was very convenient! We hope to be back again sometime!
