- Parking at Edge Mere Apartment is free of charge and located directly outside the property – this is prized in popular Bowness!
- Sorry, we do not allow pets.
- There is gas central heating throughout.
- A cot and highchair are available, but a stair gate cannot be provided.
- The kitchen has an induction hob – anyone with a pacemaker is advised to take caution and seek professional medical advice.
- This is a self-contained apartment with two private entrances. Much of the accommodation is on the ground floor, but please note that the king-sized bedroom is in the basement; there is a window providing light source.

We had a brilliant stay at edgemere apartment. The property was spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The living room was large and cosy on a cold evening. There was a good selection of games which we enjoyed. The large island in the kitchen was a great social area for meals. Beds and bedding were super comfy with large head boards. Location couldn't have been better, very central and the addition of a parking spot was a big bonus. Booking through tarn escapes Ross responded quickly to our questions before we booked and was very helpful. Would certainly love to return for a second visit

We had an excellent stay at Edge Mere. The apartment was in immaculate condition. Very clean and well kept, and looks exactly like the photos in the listing. Location was in a quiet residential area, on a slight slope and away from all the people. The only one comment would be that the bathroom in the basement bedroom was too small. But that would not stopped us from staying here again. Ross was an excellent host. Very friendly, responsive and attended to all our questions and clarifications on time. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Wonderful place to stay in the Lakes District. We were just blown away by this beautiful apartment and felt very spoilt with the standard of appointments, furniture etc. It was also great to have our own parking space right outside the front door. We have been on the road for a few weeks now and not all accommodation can manage this. We would love to come back one day, cannot recommend this place highly enough

This apartment and the host Ross was just amazing! The apartment exceeds the photos, it was even more beautiful in real life! The place is very big, spacious, modern and so clean. Very well equipped and we even were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a sticky toffee pudding to enjoy! Ross is a fantastic host and communication succeeds expectations. We loved our stay so much that we actually extended our stay! The location is just perfect and only a few steps away from all the local shops and restaurants. The parking is right outside one of the two entrances to the property. I honestly can not wait to return and can’t recommend this property enough to complete your trip to the Lake District. Incredible stay! The apartment was beyond amazing – with an awesome location near Windermere Lake. The location was perfect. Even though the uphill walk might be a bit challenging for some, it's totally worth it once you're there. The place was fully equipped with everything (loved that kitchen!), and those games/toys/puzzles for the kids were a lifesaver! Oh, and a shoutout to the fast WiFi – a digital nomad's dream! The Tesco supermarket nearby was a game-changer too – so convenient! Can't wait to visit again someday.

Absolutely beautiful little home, perfectly located only a short walk way from all of the shops and restaurants of Windermere and the water. The bedrooms and living room were perfectly cosy for 4 guests and made for a great relaxing space after a day full of hiking and adventuring, all while being on the cheaper side of the listings we saw available. It’s hard to imagine finding anything better for the price in the area! The owner/ manager was incredibly friendly and helpful cooperating with our fluctuating travel plans. Could not recommend more!
