Old Stables Loft offers straightforward and comfortable holiday accommodation in Kendal, perfect for exploring both town and countryside. The apartment sits on a quiet pedestrianised street just a short stroll from Kendal’s shops, pubs, cafés, and riverside walks. Kendal Castle, the Brewery Arts Centre, and Abbot Hall are all nearby, while Windermere is only 9 miles away.

Inside, the apartment features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa seating, Smart TV, and flame-effect fire. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dining table for mealtimes. There are two comfortable bedrooms – one double, and one king-size bedroom which can be split into two singles – plus a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. A utility room with a washing machine, freezer, and drying rack adds extra convenience for longer stays.

Although there is no private outdoor space, Kendal’s riverside paths, green parks, and Castle Hill are close by. Secure bike storage is available, and a South Lakeland parking permit allows access to local car parks. Public transport is excellent, with Kendal Bus Station and Kendal train station within walking distance, and Oxenholme mainline station a short taxi or bus ride away.

Note: The apartment occupies the second floor of the building, with the entrance hall on the first floor. Guests should note that the ground floor is Finkles Café, which warmly welcomes apartment guests for food and drink, but the apartment itself is not on the ground floor.
